Egina (RT) is a producing conventional oil field located in ultra-deepwater in Nigeria and is operated by Total Upstream Nigeria. The field is located in block OML 130 (OPL 246), with water depth of 5,115 feet.

The field is owned by Banco BTG Pactual, Africa Oil, South Atlantic Petroleum and TotalEnergies.


Production from Egina (RT)

The Egina (RT) conventional oil field recovered 27.99% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 91.71 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 28 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2044. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 238.29 Mmboe, comprised of 227.59 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 64.21 bcf of natural gas reserves. Egina (RT) conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.05% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
