Production from El Salitral

The El Salitral unconventional gas field recovered 82.67% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 0.97 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 99 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2035.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 16.31 Mmboe, comprised of 1.21 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 90.6 bcf of natural gas reserves. El Salitral unconventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional gas fields globally.
