Eridu is a conventional oil development located onshore Iraq and is operated by LUKOIL Overseas Iraq Exploration. Discovered in 2017, Eridu lies in block Block 10.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024. The Eridu conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately 13 wells.

Production from Eridu
Production from the Eridu conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2048, to approximately 75,000 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2069.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 816.23 Mmboe, comprised of 816.23 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
