Gbaran Phase 3 is a conventional gas development located onshore Nigeria and is operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. Discovered in 1971, Gbaran Phase 3 lies in block OML 28.
The project is currently in construction stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022.

Production from Gbaran Phase 3
Production from the Gbaran Phase 3 conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2023, to approximately 6,190 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 228 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2056.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 176.17 Mmboe, comprised of 24.78 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 908.37 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves.
