Idd El-Shargi North Dome is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Qatar and is operated by QatarEnergy. The field is located in block Idd El Shargi North Dome, with water depth of 92 feet.
Two expansion projects are associated with the Idd El-Shargi North Dome conventional oil field, namely Idd El-Shargi North Dome Phase 5 and Idd El-Shargi North Dome Phase 5.2. The expansion projects are currently in the construction and feed stage.

Production from Idd El-Shargi North Dome
The Idd El-Shargi North Dome conventional oil field recovered 88.84% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1998. The peak production was approximately 118.1 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2033. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 118.36 Mmboe, comprised of 118.36 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Idd El-Shargi North Dome conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
