Production from Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad

The Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad conventional gas field recovered 18.60% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2019. The peak production was approximately 1.99 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,111 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2094. The field currently accounts for approximately 14% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1,620.18 Mmboe, comprised of 19.86 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 9,601.93 bcf of natural gas reserves. Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.53% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
