Kish Conventional Gas Field, Iran

Kish is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Iran and is operated by Pars Oil and Gas. Discovered in 2005, Kish lies in block Kish, with water depth of around 328 feet.

The project is currently in commissioning stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2023. The development cost is expected to be $1,400 m. The Kish conventional gas development will involve the drilling of approximately 13 wells and includes subsea manifold and subsea trees.

The field is owned by National Iranian Oil.

Production from Kish

Production from the Kish conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 12,740 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 900 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2058.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1,493.69 Mmboe, comprised of 122.52 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 8,227.02 bcf of natural gas reserves.
