Kolo Creek is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Nigeria and is operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. The field is located in block OML 28.

The field is owned by Shell, TotalEnergies, Eni and Nigerian National Petroleum.


Production from Kolo Creek

The Kolo Creek conventional oil field recovered 90.85% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2012. The peak production was approximately 172 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2035.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 27.1 Mmboe, comprised of 2.04 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 150.35 bcf of natural gas reserves. Kolo Creek conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
