Mehar is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Pakistan and is operated by Omv Maurice Energy. The field is located in block 2767-1 (Mehar).

Production from Mehar

The Mehar conventional gas field recovered 52.37% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2014. The peak production was approximately 2.6 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 28 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 9.49 Mmboe, comprised of 2 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 44.93 bcf of natural gas reserves.
