Messlah is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Libya and is operated by Arabian Gulf Oil. The field is located in block NC 80 (Area 107 & 108) and NC 65 (Area 123 & 124).

Production from Messlah
The Messlah conventional oil field recovered 92.76% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1989. The peak production was approximately 152 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 131.07 Mmboe, comprised of 131.07 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Messlah conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.03% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
