Morskoye is a producing heavy oil field located onshore Kazakhstan and is operated by KoZhaN. The field is located in block Morskoye (Blocks X-14-D (P), E (P), XXX-14-A (P), B (P)).

Production from Morskoye

The Morskoye heavy oil field recovered 22.27% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 12.27 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2074.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 63.43 Mmboe, comprised of 63.43 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Morskoye heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.14% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
