Production from Norne
The Norne conventional oil field recovered 94.48% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2001. The peak production was approximately 194.55 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 105 Mmcfd of natural gas and 3.59 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2026. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 38.1 Mmboe, comprised of 17.95 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 104.9 bcf of natural gas reserves and 2.67 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves.
