Novo-Portovskoye Conventional Oil Field, Russia

Novo-Portovskoye is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Russia and is operated by Gazpromneft-Yamal. The field is located in block Novo-Portovsky.

An expansion project is associated with the Novo-Portovskoye, namely Novoportovskoye Phase 3. This project is currently in the commissioning stage, expected to start in 2021.

The field is owned by Gazprom.

Production from Novo-Portovskoye

The Novo-Portovskoye conventional oil field recovered 14.52% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production will approximately 159.86 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,047 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2062. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 2,117.76 Mmboe, comprised of 1,136.69 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 5,886.43 bcf of natural gas reserves. Novo-Portovskoye conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.44% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
