Oda is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Norway and is operated by Spirit Energy Norge. The field is located in block 8/10P (PL 405), with water depth of 216 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the Oda, namely Oda Infill Project. This project is currently in the approval stage.
Field participation details
The field is owned by Suncor Energy, Stadtwerke Munchen, Aker BP, DNO and Centrica.
Production from Oda
The Oda conventional oil field recovered 23.88% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 21.9 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 0.44 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2060.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 49.32 Mmboe, comprised of 48.94 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.37 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. Oda conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
