The activity marked an increase of 3%, when compared with an average of 236 contracts over the last 12 months.

Upstream segment had the majority of contracts in the offshore terrain with 232 contracts and a 96% share, followed by midstream with 14 contracts.

Europe led the offshore contracts activity with 159 contracts and a 66% share in September 2021, followed by Asia-Pacific and North America with 34 (14%) and 18 (7%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the offshore were awarded in the operations & maintenance with 159 contracts, followed by design & engineering and procurement with 64 and 56 contracts, respectively.
