Palm Valley Conventional Gas Field, Australia

Palm Valley is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Australia and is operated by Central Petroleum. The field is located in block OL 3.

An expansion project is associated with the Palm Valley, namely Palm Valley Development . This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

Production from Palm Valley

The Palm Valley conventional gas field recovered 96.22% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1991. The peak production was approximately 25 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2047.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1.11 Mmboe, comprised of 6.63 bcf of natural gas reserves.
