Parva Negra is a unconventional gas development located onshore Argentina and is operated by Pampa Energia. Parva Negra lies in block Parva Negra Este.

The project is currently in commissioning stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022.

Production from Parva Negra

Production from the Parva Negra unconventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 8 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 6.77 Mmboe, comprised of 40.6 bcf of natural gas reserves.
