Prosperidade is a conventional Gas development located in ultra-deepwater in Mozambique and is operated by Total E&P Mozambique Area 1 . Discovered in 2010, Prosperidade lies in block Area 1, with water depth of around 5,415 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2029. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2024. The Prosperidade conventional gas development will includes subsea tree.

The field is owned by Oil India , Mitsui, Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National, PTT Public , Bharat Petroleum , Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos EP, Oil and Natural Gas and TotalEnergies.
Production from Prosperidade
Production from the Prosperidade conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2029 and is forecast to peak in 2040, to approximately 30,526 bpd of crude oil and condensate, 999 Mmcfd of natural gas and 2,999 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2096.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 7,200.48 Mmboe, comprised of 315.98 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 10,436.33 bcf of natural gas reserves and 30,870.6 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves.
