Puteri Conventional Oil Field, Malaysia

Puteri is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Malaysia and is operated by SapuraOMV Upstream (PM). The field is located in block PM 318, with water depth of 262 feet.

The field is owned by Jadestone Energy and Petroliam Nasional.


Production from Puteri

The Puteri conventional oil field recovered 43.17% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 14.44 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2059. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 61.29 Mmboe, comprised of 61.29 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Puteri conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
