Q01-D Conventional Gas Field, Netherlands

Q01-D is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Netherlands and is operated by Wintershall Noordzee. The field is located in block Q01 and Q01 (Deep), with water depth of 95 feet.

The field is owned by Abu Dhabi National Energy, BASF, Gazprom and LetterOne Holdings.


Production from Q01-D

The Q01-D conventional gas field recovered 46.61% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2014. The peak production was approximately 0.06 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 25 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2057. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 9.41 Mmboe, comprised of 0.05 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 56.19 bcf of natural gas reserves.
