Rydberg is a conventional oil development located in ultra-deepwater in the US and is operated by Shell Offshore. Discovered in 2014, Rydberg lies in block Mississippi Canyon 525, with water depth of around 7,479 feet.
The project is currently in feasibility stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025.

Production from Rydberg
Production from the Rydberg conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 15,487 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 15 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2071.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 106.55 Mmboe, comprised of 91.93 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 87.74 bcf of natural gas reserves.
