Salym Project is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Russia and is operated by Salym Petroleum Development. The field is located in block Salymsky West (Zapadno-Salymsky), Vadelypskoye, and Verkhne-Salymskoye.

An expansion project is associated with the Salym Project, namely Salym Southern Hub Project. This project is currently in the construction stage.

Production from Salym Project

The Salym Project conventional oil field recovered 59.51% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 167.01 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2061.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 484.92 Mmboe, comprised of 484.92 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Salym Project conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.11% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
