SK 309 & SK 311 is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Malaysia and is operated by PTTEP Sarawak Oil. The field is located in block SK 309, with water depth of 164 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the SK 309 & SK 311, namely Pemanis Development. This project is currently in the construction stage.

The field is owned by PTT Public, Petroliam Nasional and PT Pertamina (Persero).
Production from SK 309 & SK 311
The SK 309 & SK 311 conventional gas field recovered 84.41% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 41.85 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 321 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2030. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 60.38 Mmboe, comprised of 18.22 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 252.97 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves. SK 309 & SK 311 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
