South Arne is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Denmark and is operated by Hess Denmark. The field is located in block 5604/29P – Above 5100 meters (7/89) and 5604/30P – Above 5100 meters (7/89), with water depth of 203 feet.

Production from South Arne

The South Arne conventional oil field recovered 96.09% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2000. The peak production was approximately 44.05 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 73 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2026. The field currently accounts for approximately 10% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 9.45 Mmboe, comprised of 7.66 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 10.72 bcf of natural gas reserves.
