South Pars Phases 2 and 3 is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Iran and is operated by Pars Oil and Gas. The field is located in block South Pars Phase 2 and South Pars Phase 3.

Production from South Pars Phases 2 and 3
The South Pars Phases 2 and 3 conventional gas field recovered 89.39% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2003. The peak production was approximately 88 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,940 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2031. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 297.52 Mmboe, comprised of 13.24 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 1,705.67 bcf of natural gas reserves. South Pars Phases 2 and 3 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.10% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
