The South Pars Phases 22, 23 and 24 conventional gas field recovered 13.27% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 84.7 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 1,940 Mmcfd of natural gas and 46.19 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2056. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 2,859.14 Mmboe, comprised of 299.69 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 13,164.31 bcf of natural gas reserves and 365.39 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. South Pars Phases 22, 23 and 24 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.97% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
