Tang-e-Bijar is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Iran and is operated by West Oil and Gas Production. The field is located in block Tang e Bijar.
Two expansion projects are associated with the Tang-e-Bijar conventional gas field, namely Tang-e-Bijar Phase 2 and Tang-e-Bijar Phase 3. The expansion projects are currently in the commissioning and feasibility stage.

Production from Tang-e-Bijar
The Tang-e-Bijar conventional gas field recovered 35.97% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 253 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2061.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 157.79 Mmboe, comprised of 946.75 bcf of natural gas reserves. Tang-e-Bijar conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.05% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
