Production from Tempa Rossa
The Tempa Rossa heavy oil field recovered 7.91% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2021. The peak production was approximately 48.75 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 21 Mmcfd of natural gas and 0.89 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2053. The field currently accounts for approximately 20% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 155.53 Mmboe, comprised of 141.84 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 62.06 bcf of natural gas reserves and 3.34 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves.
