Vincent is a producing heavy oil field located in deepwater in Australia and is operated by Woodside Energy. The field is located in block WA-28-L, WA-28-P, and WA-155-P, with water depth of 1,253 feet.

An expansion project is associated with the Vincent, namely Vincent Future Development. This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

Production from Vincent

The Vincent heavy oil field recovered 45.22% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2012. The peak production was approximately 28.56 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2069. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 109.09 Mmboe, comprised of 109.09 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Vincent heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.25% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
