Xerelete Sul Conventional Oil Field, Brazil

Xerelete Sul is a conventional oil development located in ultra-deepwater in Brazil and is operated by Total E&P do Brasil. Xerelete Sul lies in block BM-C-14 and BM-C-14 (Xerelete Sul), with water depth of around 8,038 feet.

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024.

The field is owned by TotalEnergies.


Production from Xerelete Sul

Production from the Xerelete Sul conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2027, to approximately 17,720 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 3 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2069.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 105.31 Mmboe, comprised of 102.29 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 18.11 bcf of natural gas reserves.
