Keppel Offshore & Marine has signed an agreement to divest five of its jack-up rigs for $745m to Borr Drilling, through its subsidiary Keppel FELS.
Based in Singapore, Keppel Offshore & Marine is a provider of offshore rig design, construction and repair services, while Borr Drilling is a Bermuda-based drilling contractor to the global oil and gas industry.

Being constructed by Keppel FELS, the rigs are expected to be delivered between Q4 2019 and Q4 2020.
One of the rigs will be delivered in 2019, followed by four more in 2020.
Sembcorp Marine subsidiary Sembcorp Marine Rigs & Floaters has been awarded a contract by Shell Offshore to construct and integrate the hull, topsides and living quarters for the Vito semi-submersible floating production unit (FPU).
The contract also includes the installation of Shell-furnished equipment.

The EPCIC services will be carried out from Rosenberg WorleyParsons in Stavanger.

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has signed two production sharing contracts (PSCs) with Husky Oil Operations (China) Limited (Husky) for Blocks 22/11 and 23/07 located in the Beibu Gulf of the South China Sea.
The block 22/11 covers a total area of 1,663km², while the block 23/07 covers a total area of 1,210km².
Husky will be the operator during the exploration stage of the two blocks and incur all the expenses related to exploration activities, as part of the agreement.
CNOOC will also retain a 51% interest in commercial discoveries made in the blocks during the development stage.
Awilco Drilling has signed a $38.3m contract with Shell UK to provide its WilPhoenix vessel for a decommissioning programme.
The decommissioning activity is an 18-well programme to be carried out for a period of 330 days and is scheduled to commence in September.
