Eversendai’s UAE-based wholly owned subsidiary Eversendai Offshore RMC FZE has secured a contract to provide offshore fabrication services for Saudi Aramco.
Having secured the contract through Saipem, Eversendai Offshore expects to obtain more projects from Saudi Aramco, which plans to invest in excess of $300bn over the next ten years.

Since last year, Aramco has awarded projects totalling $5bn.
Eversendai Offshore CEO Narish Nathan said: “As the number of fabrication yards in the Middle East with Saudi Aramco certification is limited, Eversendai has a high potential in increasing their bid conversion rate bidding through the long-term agreement (LTA) engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contractors or through Saudi Aramco itself directly.”
The development comes after the company was recently certified with the Saudi Aramco 9com certification that allows it to carry out the execution of projects.
Furthermore, the certification gave a pre-qualified vendor status to the company’s fabrication yard in Ras Al Khaimah to provide fabrication and construction of offshore platforms and jackets for Saudi Aramco.

The Saudi Aramco project brings Eversendai’s total project wins up to MYR1.56bn ($368.84m) so far this year.
