AGR Field Operations has been awarded a Nkr60m ($10.33m) contract extension from Statoil to provide its surface management services for 12 months.

Under the terms of the contract, AGR Field Operations will supply its services, including the proprietary SOLV concept, to all Statoil offshore installations.

A total of 44 installations will take place in Norway and on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

AGR Field Operations executive vice-president Åge Landro said that the extension will allow the company to continue its relationship with Statoil across all its operations in the North Sea.

"We see the extension as a confirmation from Statoil that our products and services are valuable in the effective management of their assets," he said.

AGR Field Operations has seen an increase in interest from clients for its maintenance management services.
