BP Exploration (Shah Deniz) has awarded two new contracts worth $363m for Shah Deniz Stage 2 and South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion (SCPX) projects.
According to BP, progress has already been achieved for both the projectsat all fabrication and construction sites located across Azerbaijan and Georgia.

FMC Kongsberg Subsea has secured a $297m contract to supply the subsea production system (SPS) hardware.
Under the contract, the company will supply equipment for well clusters 3-5 of the Shah Deniz Stage 2 project in the Caspian Sea.
The equipment would be delivered in phases over a period from 2016 to 2021.
FMC Technologies’ subsea technologies senior vice-president Tore Halvorsen said: "This award continues our multi-year support for BP on this project.

BP Exploration has also awarded a $66m contract to OneSubsea (UK) for the second of three planned batches of subsea production trees and ancillaries required for the field development.
The delivery of equipment will take place in phases between from 2016 and 2021.
Said to be one of the largest gas developments in the world, the Shah Deniz Stage 2 is expected to add a further 16 billion cubic meters per year (bcma) of gas production to the approximately 9bcma produced by Shah Deniz Stage 1.
