Integrated geoscience company CGG has received a contract from Brunei Shell Petroleum to operate a dedicated processing centre (DPC) at its Seria office in Brunei Darussalam.

The contract carries a six-year validity, from 1 January this year to 31 December 2022.

Under the contract, CGG will provide full scope of processing services for 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data collected from both onshore and offshore locations in Brunei.

The project will include field data processing to advanced pre-stack depth imaging by leveraging advanced processing and subsurface imaging technology.

Furthermore, CGG will work to enhance the local business development service by recruiting and developing local geoscience-related staff and executing business opportunities locally.
