Comstock Resources has signed a deal to buy acreage in Texas, US, from Eagle Oil & Gas and other parties for $332.7m.
The company will acquire approximately 68,000 gross acres in the southern Delaware Basin in Reeves County.

The assets are prospective for development in the Bone Spring and Wolfcamp shales.
The acquisition, which includes 29 producing wells and five wells in various stages of completion, will close by the year-end.
The transaction also includes 23.2 million barrels of oil equivalent of proved reserves and a net daily production of 1,400 barrels of oil equivalent.
