Sabine Pass Liquefaction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cheniere Energy Partners, has announced pricing and upsizing of the public offering of 5% senior secured notes due on 15 March 2027.
The offering has been upsized to raise $1.5bn, which will be used by the company to prepay outstanding principal of existing credit facilities and for funding the capital costs of the development of trains in a natural gas liquefaction facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

The issue is scheduled for completion on 23 September.
Encana Corporation has announced plans to raise $1bn through a public offering of 107 million shares.
The underwriters including Credit Suisse Securities (Canada), J.P. Morgan Securities Canada and J.P. Morgan Securities have been granted a 30-day over-allotment option to buy up to 16.5 million shares.
