Delek Refining will be using new Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)-based Connected Performance Services (CPS) to improve its refinery’s performance located in Tyler, Texas.
CPS is a section of Honeywell’s Connected Plant initiative that combines IIoT technologies and its UOP’s services with domain expertise to enhance different industrial operations such as supply chain efficiency and asset optimisation.

Delek will be using Process Reliability Advisor, a CPS solution that consistently analyses the process unit performance and identifies abnormalities.
The solution will assist the refinery operators to resolve these issues quickly and maintain the optimum performance of their units.
CPS solutions utilises current plant data and leverages Honeywell UOP process and fault models to provide important performance information and process recommendations.

The process reliability advisor is effective in reducing unplanned shutdowns and repairing costs by providing the refineries, petrochemical and gas processing plants greater control of the operations. Quick detection of problems and their solutions increase efficiency and productivity of the plant.
