UK-based petroleum geographic information system (GIS) services, software and training provider Exprodat plans to offer wide-ranging oil and gas training courses in Alberta, Canada from April.
Exprodat’s training staff bring together expert knowledge of GIS and real-world experience of exploration and production departments. Its courses will demonstrate the methods of using the ArcGIS geographic knowledge platform in common exploration and production workflows.

Exprodat aims to make the best petroleum ArcGIS training courses available globally to ensure that they will be beneficial to as many people as possible.
According to the company, training in Calgary will join courses now held in Perth, Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Houston, Dubai, Aberdeen and London.
Exprodat training manager David Crowther said that oil and gas professionals from Calgary have attended the company’s Houston classes in the past.
