GE Oil & Gas has been selected by NextDecade as the exclusive supplier of gas turbine and compressor equipment for its liquefied natural gas (LNG) export projects and associated pipelines in Texas, US.
Under the agreement, GE will supply gas turbine and compressor equipment for the liquefaction trains of the Rio Grande LNG project and the associated Rio Bravo Pipeline.

The supply agreement also has provisions related to long-term services, lifecycle maintenance, and GE performance guarantees.
In addition to technical and maintenance services, GE has been granted the right to invest in a project-level equity and debt financing for Rio Grande LNG at the time of final investment decision, as part of common equity investment.
