Global information technology company Harris CapRock Communications has introduced a new VSAT solution for offshore and deepwater customers.
The new Pulse uses advanced VSAT technologies and enables real-time bandwidth upgrades through a secure solution.

According to the company, Pulse leverages Comtech EF Data’s modem technologies and Vipersat management system and reassigns satellite capacity on demand, dynamically.

Harris CapRock’s bandwidth management architecture will provide the maximum capacity available to customers when a deepwater platform requests extended bandwidth for various applications.

By deploying Pulse advanced VSAT globally, the company will be able to offer solutions that meet or exceed its customers’ growing bandwidth requirements.
Recently, the company deployed the solution on Royal Caribbean’s global fleet, as well as networks for customer operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
Harris CapRock will debut its advanced VSAT solution Pulse for offshore and deepwater customers at SATELLITE 2014, 11-13 March at the Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, US.
