KP Engineering (KPE) has signed a firm price contract with Targa Resources subsidiary, Targa Pipeline Mid-Continent WestTex, to provide design, procurement and installation services for a 200mmscfd Cryogenic Gas Processing Unit (Cryo) with Compression.

With the award of this new contract, KPE continues to expand its business in the midstream sector.

The awarded project will leverage on KPE’s process design and turnkey execution capability.

Targa Resources is one of the largest independent midstream energy companies in North America, based in Houston, Texas. It owns and operates a wide range of midstream energy asset portfolios.

Under the contract, KPE will provide complete engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions for the project, which includes the main processing unit, as well as a balance of plant items and associated infrastructure.

The project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2018.
