US firms Schlumberger and IBM have joined forces to offer integrated services to upstream oil and gas customers through combining their solutions.

The combination of Schlumberger’s production optimisation services and Avocet production operations software platform with IBM’s enterprise asset management and enterprise services is expected to improve the business impact of production operations projects.
