TechnipFMC has received a contract from Eni Ghana E&P to develop the onshore part of the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) in the Sankofa field located in Ghana.
Eni Ghana E&P is a subsidiary of Eni, Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC) and Vitol.

Under the deal, TechnipFMC will be responsible for project management, engineering, supply, construction and commissioning (EPC) for the Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) located in Sanzule.
TechnipFMC’s Onshore / Offshore business president Nello Uccelletti said: “We are proud to have been awarded this new contract, which rewards TechnipFMC’s long-term commitment in Africa and plays a strategic role in the Gas to Power programme in Ghana.
“This success also results from TechnipFMC’s sustainable development work in Ghana, in particular our permanent Engineering Center located in Accra.”
The TechnipFMC team, based in Ghana, will execute the contract, which is slated to be completed by the middle of next year.

Located nearly 60km offshore from Ghana’s west coast, it holds 41 billion cubic metres of non-associated gas and 500 million barrels of oil.
Eni Ghana Exploration and Production holds 47.2% interest in the project with the operatorship.
The remaining ownership lies with Vitol Ghana Upstream (37.7%) and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (15%).
