The western Canada construction division of WorleyParsons, WorleyParsonsCord has secured a contract for the Cutbank Ridge Partnership Program’s 03-07 Tower Sweet Gas Plant Project in Canada.
The Cutbank Ridge Partnership is a partnership between Encana and Mitsubishi’s subsidiary Cutbank Dawson Gas Resources.

WorleyParsonsCord is expected to gain revenue of C$164m ($124m) from the contract.
Under the contract, the company will provide the pipe fabrication, module assembly and field construction services for the plant located about 40km northwest of Dawson Creek in British Columbia (BC).
WorleyParsonsCord Edmonton, Alberta Operations will lead and execute the contract.
The company has been delivering modularisation as well as construction services to western Canadian hydrocarbons, power and chemical sectors for the past many years.

By GlobalDataDuring the project’s field construction phase, WorleyParsonsCord said it will collaborate with communities and local businesses that are located in northeastern BC.
WorleyParsons chief executive officer Andrew Wood said: "We are very pleased to have been awarded this important contract which builds on our long standing relationship with Encana and its Partnership."
The Cutbank Ridge Partnership holds about 409,000 net acres of undeveloped Montney-formation natural gas lands of Encana in the company’s Cutbank Ridge resource play in northeast BC.
The lands held by the partnership are believed to have proved undeveloped reserves of about 900 billion ft³ of natural gas equivalent.
They also contain estimated natural gas initially in place of about 130 trillion ft³.
