India’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bottling and marketing company Worthwhile Gases (WGPL) has initiated the process of setting up a bottling plant in Bihar, India.
The new plant will have an installed capacity of 1,000t per month.

WGPL managing director Akshay Jain said: "Another feather in our cap is that we are targeting the rural segment first.
“We are coming with the 4kg segment that will be BIS-approved and this will ensure the safety of people as lots of people are using the unapproved 2/3/4 kg LPG cylinders.
“In addition, we would be hiring and training local manpower only and thus generating a high level of employment in the state as this is a labour-intensive industry."
WGPL already has an operational office in Patna and will soon open its own offices in Ranchi.

Taking into consideration the demand for commercial cylinders among business owners, the company will bottle and market its non-subsidised LPG under the brand name 'My Gas'.
WGPL is engaged in the field of non-subsidised domestic and commercial LPG.
