It discovered an estimated 36m gas column in very good reservoir quality. It was testing the Miocene Utsira Formation sand and gas was encountered in an upper 24m sand sequence.

The Island Innovator drilling rig was used to drill the well to a total subsea depth of 995m. It was terminated in sediments of presumed Oligocene age Hordaland Group.

Lundin Petroleum subsidiary Lundin Norway operates the licence with a 35% stake. Petrolia Norway and E.ON E&P Norge hold 35% and 30% working interests, respectively.
