Petrobras has confirmed that it is in talks with the Brazilian group Ultrapar Participacoes over divestment of its Alberto Pasqualini Refinery (Refap) in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Located in an area of 580ha in the Rio Grande do Sul city of Canoas, the refinery has a throughput of 32,000m³/day and caters mainly to the regional market.

Additionally, Petrobras has received binding proposals from undisclosed parties for the potential sale of Presidente Getúlio Vargas Refinery (REPAR), in Paraná.
The binding proposals are currently being analysed by Petrobras.
Based on negotiated versions of contracts with Mubadala Investment Company, Petrobras is due to receive final offers from participants for the sale of Landulpho Alves Refinery (RLAM), in Bahia.
Petrobras also received binding offers and is negotiating with undisclosed parties for the sale of Isaac Sabbá Refinery (REMAN) in Amazonas, Lubrificantes e Derivados de Petróleo do Nordeste (LUBNOR) in Ceará, and Shale Industrialization Unit (SIX) in Paraná.

By GlobalDataMoreover, the Brazilian firm expects to receive binding offers from potential parties in the first quarter of this year, for the sale of Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST), in Pernambuco, and Gabriel Passos Refinery (REGAP), in Minas Gerais.
Petrobras said in a statement: “Petrobras reinforces its commitment with wide transparency of its divestment projects and portfolio management and informs that the subsequent stages will be disclosed to the market in accordance with the company’s Divestment Guidelines and the Decree 9,188/2017.”
In November, Petrobras said it commenced the process of selling its interests in the Bahia Terra cluster in different municipalities of the state of Bahia.
