The development follows an agreement being signed last month between the parties to supply around 28PJ of gas to WesCEF over three years.
The new contract is expected to strengthen the company’s position as a producer of domestic gas in the Western Australian (WA) market.
Santos marketing and trading executive vice-president Philip Byrne said: “We produce only domestic gas in WA and it’s a business we are keen to grow, delivering affordable and reliable energy to local businesses and industry.
“This contract also strengthens our relationship with WesCEF and highlights the quality of our client base.”
