SLB OneSubsea has secured a contract from Beacon Offshore Energy (BOE) Exploration and Production to provide a high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) multiphase boosting system for the Shenandoah field in the Gulf of Mexico.
This contract represents ongoing investments in deep-water initiatives, utilising advanced subsea technologies to improve resource recovery.

SLB OneSubsea is a joint venture between SLB, Aker Solutions and Subsea7.
The HPHT system is designed for reliable operation above 15,000 pounds per square inch (psi), addressing conditions that are beyond the scope of conventional subsea solutions.
SLB OneSubsea Processing Systems vice-president Andreas Fjellbirkeland said: “Our engagement with BOE began in January 2025, enabling us to design a subsea boosting solution tailored to the field’s operating conditions.
“As operators continue to invest in deep-water projects in the Gulf of America, this type of technology plays a critical role in accelerating production and improving recovery.”
Shenandoah is an ultra-high-pressure oil and gas project operated by BOE.
Blackstone Energy Partners established the field in 2016.
The project also involves partners HEQ Deepwater, created by Quantum Energy Partners, and Israel’s Navitas Petroleum.
The project partners made a final investment decision for the $1.8bn offshore development in August 2021.
Production at the Shenandoah field commenced in July 2025, with output increasing to reach a target of 100,000 barrels of oil per day and 117,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by October 2025.
Last month, SLB OneSubsea obtained an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from PTTEP Sabah Oil, a subsidiary of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company (PTTEP), for a deep-water project offshore Malaysia.
This contract expands OneSubsea’s role in providing integrated subsea production systems for PTTEP’s deep-water projects in the region.
In August 2025, the company secured another EPC contract from Equinor to deliver a pioneering all-electric subsea production system for 12 wells at the Fram Sør field offshore Norway.
